Where we hang our hat...

We live in a *Hamlet in Oxford Station, Ontario. Our first home was built in 1854 and sits on an older severed piece of farm land. The home now has 1.3 acres of land with over 35 elderly maples... She is breathtaking in the fall!
Previous owners bought and restored it to living conditions in 1997, formally know as the Black Homestead...
While the previous owners did make it livable, it wasn't to our tastes in 2006, we started the never ending project list shortly after moving in...

As bought - Wedgwood Blue w/baby blue carriage house
A little peek in the fall with the new colour, dark grey.

Some fall photos...

Our 15 year old girl Polly <3!

One of my favorite trees on the property. I also love the view of the steeple on the stone church... More to come on that little piece of history!

A quick intro to our house... Where we hang our hat, thanks for having a peek.

* A hamlet is a type of settlement. The definition of hamlet varies by country. It usually refers to a small settlement in a rural area, or a component of a larger settlement or municipality. Hamlets are typically unincorporated communities.
